As part of the Heide Museum’s summer program, and part of my AAO associate artist role, I will be performing with one long-time AAO collaborator, in a concert program that sees both myself and guest each perform a solo set, followed by a duo set at the end. Visit Mirka Mora’s exhibition Pas de Deux—Drawings and Dolls, and watch the AAO’s concert on a beautiful summer night!
On Friday 25 January, I will be performing with percussionist Vanessa Tomlinson. She has been a frequent collaborator with the AAO for many years, appearing in various works such as Water Pushes Sand at Melbourne Festival 2015, Sex, Lies and Videogames in 2017 at Sydney Festival and From the Air at Arts Centre Melbourne in 2018. With a long history in experimental music, Vanessa uses this body of knowledge to consider how we listen through site-specific explorations, and to explore new collaborative sonic ideas.
On Saturday 16 February, I will be joined by experimental turntablist Martin Ng, and on Saturday 16 March with vocalist Sunny Kim.
