True Strength is the divine duo of Ida (voice/bass/guitar and Alex Garsden (guitar/piano) playing beautiful original folk music. This show is the night before Ida returns to Denmark, so come and see her off in good style! This will be True Strength’s first Australian show in 12 months, and more than likely their only performance here for 2015. I was very honoured to be asked to do a support slot with The Perfect Human (Jenny Barnes, Carolyn Connors & Aviva Endean accapella vocals) and we will do a short excerpt from my recent showing at FCAC. ‘The Horse & Weasel Tabernacle’ is on Eastment Street Northcote. Music will be accompanied by a big roaring fire & a hearty soup & sourdough bread & some spicy Mulled Vino & a selection of dark winter Beers all by kind donation!
