Friday Nov 3rd 7pm: Chamber Made Opera and the Venny present ‘Imagine a place’

This has been a huge project for me, designing a building a sound playground for the 1st time, together the kids at the Venny community backyard, the other CMO musicians and bamboo architechst- Giant Grass. ‘Imagine a Place’ is a new promenade performance throughout the grounds of The Venny, created with the children form the Venny and will include playing and interacting with hand-made instruments and sound installations co-designed by the children, the adult artists and the architects. Through music, storytelling, puppetry and song, Imagine a Place will bring to life the things that matter to these children right now, exploring our relationship with nature and with each other.
Please wear sensible shoes and, if raining, bring an umbrella.
