It’s been 100 years since the world was shaken by the October Revolution, and in this concert, Zulya and The Children of the Underground look back at the last century of Russian song and celebrate the influence it has had on her art — from traditional folk songs to the Soviet pop, jazz and old movie favourites of her childhood, to the great 20th-century Russian composers and her own best original songs from her varied back catalogue.
