I’m very pleased to share that Hand to Earth are playing WOMADelaide festival this weekend, alongside an incredible lineup of Australian bands! We’ll be sharing music from our recent release, which you can check out here, or on your favourite streaming service.
Hand to Earth is a largely improvised collaboration that spans continents and cultures, and pushes the boundaries of musical forms. Against a backdrop by trumpeter/composer Peter Knight, David Yipininy Wilfred on yidaki and Aviva Endean on clarinet, Yolngu songman Daniel Wilfred and Korean jazz vocalist Sunny Kim weave their voices into a minimalist soundscape, singing of timeless things; from the stars, to fire to the cooling rain.
