Celebrated composer-performer James Rushford presents a concert of rarely-heard contemporary keyboard and chamber music, focusing on unorthodox forms of musical transcription. This complex yet charming program combines keyboard transcriptions of sources ranging from concrete-poetry, digitised Mozambican rhythms, and mathematically ‘knotted’ Baroque music. All works in this program are Australian premieres. This event is co-presented by INLAND Concert Series.
